Soooooo, my 40th birthday is coming up in May. My son will be with his dad during the month of july. My sister, my best friend, and I are planning a trip to Colorado for some legal guiltless 420 fun. I'm super excited.
For those of you in that area, or who have been there, what attractions can we absolutely not miss?
I think we're probably going to stay in Denvor. My sister is sighted so could drive us around if we choose to rent a car but I'm thinking that with all the 420 tours plus Uber and Lift, we'll just let others do the driving.
I'm looking for recommendations of can't miss places to eat too. Gotta know where to go when the munchies kick in.

Wait..I thought 420 was only legal if you had a doctor's script?
Personally, I don't agree with pot smoking but I do have reasons due to family members.
However, I actually agree that pot should be legal. Tax the hell out of it! Let the police go after the really bad stuff.

420 is legalized state-wide in Colorado now.

why not come to Washington. it's prettier and it's legal here too?

Because it is legal, I don't know if they'll do the 420 celebration anymore. Lol
We have stores you can simply go and buy your products.
Go down town. 16th St. you'll find food, drink and the 420 is in the park there, so you just can walk.
Go gambling. Take a bus from down town and go up to the casinos in Black Hawk.
Go up to boulder. Take the Boulder bus, it is a quaint city.
It all depends on what you fancy, but we've got it.
May won't have the live concers in the street yet, but you have plenty music to hear.
You'll find venders in the street selling food too at that time.
I don't think the 420 thing is all that, but it is something to do.

Yes, come to Washington!

Stop here in Portland Oregon on your way to Washington, though it's not been legal here long enough to be sold in bars and stuff yet. But you can buy it in the medical shops, only without a medical card you pay more for it.

I wish I'd seen this sooner, but for anyone looking to Colorado for anything 420,
let me just say a couple things. 1. We have better weed than Washington. Sorry
guys, I've been told that by people from Washington. 2. Don't, and I mean,
DOOOOOOOOOOn't buy from dispensaries downtown, they will fuck you over and
not give you decent quality bud. Shop at more local places, there are a ton to
choose from. I'm a med patient now, so I shop at all the med spots, but most
places do medical and recreational. 3. Yes they still do 420 celebrations here, only
this year;s got snowed out. Stay positive, stay medicated.

Well, sadly, or maybe not sadly, the 420 trip hasn't happened yet. I ended up getting a new house instead. lol We're still hoping to make it out there, perhaps this coming spring break or summer.
Anyway, thanks for all the ideas.

OMG how awesome!!!!! I'm glad I was at least able to tell you before you made it
out there, especially about the downtown thing. If I'm still in Colorado, maybe we
can meet up when you do come.
